Born in Melbourne, Australia and hailing from Indian and Sri Lankan heritage, Lewis first drove a go-kart at the age of 4 after watching his older brother race at tracks around the country. From this very young age Lewis had a clear love for motor racing and an obsession with trying to make his next lap just that little bit faster than his last.

Lewis first started racing in 2017 at the age of 7 and over the following years amassed an extremely impressive resume, most notably winning the Cadet 9 and Cadet 12 Australian Karting Championships, before setting his sights on international competitions.

At the beginning of 2023 Lewis relocated to Monza, Italy, to race with the renowned Kart Republic Racing Team In European and World Championship Competitions. With numerous race wins at the highest level throughout the 2023 season, Lewis is primed for much more success on the international stage in 2024 and beyond.
